We Gonna Party Like It's Hannah 21st Birthday!

Hey Guys!

If you're following me on Instagram (@rowbowk if not, get on that guururrll!), you would have seen my recent cake adventures and the following celebratory 21st post. Don't worry you didn't miss my birthday, you've still got a little while to sort out something lovely for me! It was my my housemate Hannah's big 21st. Naturally as students, we fulfilled expectations and went totally wild, by going for afternoon tea... It was the epitome of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Super cute, super fun and beautifully british. Perfect way to celebrate a 21st in my eyes.

F-I-T!

I was having a teenie meltdown over what to wear. When I was recently at home home, I saw a dress that would be perfect and made a mental note to pack it. But mental notes don't work as well as real life note,s so I forgot it. Instead I thought I'd road test my new charity shop skirt find, originally from Wallis, I paid it for only £3. #TotalBarg! But the problem was that I have literally nothing to wear with it. I ended up raiding the birthday girl's wardrobe for this pretty peng crop top. It's from Zara, so I think I defo need to start having a cheeky look in there!

Of course no 21st birthday is complete without a photo montage and appropriately soppy message! Click on the pic to see what I wrote...

Printed Pinafore

Hey Guys!

And so the time came where I had to finish my last day at Now! Magazine and move on to pastures new... But not before I took a quick trip back home for the weekend. Since I didn't think I'd have an internship throughout February I made plans for almost all of the weekends, so I was busy travelling back and forth a lot! On my last day at Now! Magazine I finally finished clearing the fashion cupboard. Yaaaaaaay! I must have collected over 100 bags full of clothes. But I'm hoping that means that come this summer when I'm packing my own suitcase, Imma be an expert packer!

For my last look I put on a cute combo of my letter print pinafore and heidi braids. Around this I worked navy and grey pieces. Note to self: I need to get a new background for dark nights. You can hardly see my legs infront of the green Aga.

Fancy Florals

Hey Guys!

When I got totally ditched from my original internship, I had a bit of a panic and began making last minute applications EVERYWHERE! Just on the off chance any of my favourite magazines had had a cancellation. One of my e-mails made it's way to the Harper's Bazaar lovelies, who I'd totally guessed the email address anyway. Go Row! Sadly, they didn't have any spaces for little Row. I sent off a little 'thanks for letting me know email' and literally as I clicked send on that email another one came through. This one was from another member of the Harper's team who was casting at fashion week and she wanted this gal to join her team!

I wore this outfit to meet her the week before I started working on fashion week, on an evening after work at Now! Magazine. I bought this pretty peplum last summer, but this is it's debut out in the real world. I matched it with a cute fabric headband from Prairie Charms and wore a purple skater skirt to compliment the girly hues.

Marvellous Monochrome

Hey Guys!

You might remember me telling you all about my washing machine nightmares in this previous post. Since those troubles, my washing machine became completely kaputt (broken, for you non-german linguists)! But I really wanted to wear this super chic turtle neck jumper, so I persevered through the damp smell. Appaz it didn't smell to anyone else, but you can imagine when you're the one inhabiting the jumper for the day you do get the occasion whiff... Jumper drama aside, I went for a smart black and white pallet today. I did have a cute deer necklace on, but it broke half way through the day. Sad Times! I have got my skillzz down when it comes to make-up application on the tube. I used a Sleek Make-Up Red Lip Liner so easily to sweep the colour onto my lips. I realise that hardly anybody got to see my little looks in the office, since I was cooped up in the fashion cupboard again today. Finally I called up the mysterious man to take away more that 60 packages of clothing. Woohoo! Now if only I could find the same momentum to clear out my bedroom...

Scrunchie Style

Hey Guys!

Not much to report on today. I spent the whole day working away packing up garments from the fashion cupboard. I felt like I had done so much already! There were 3 wide rails full with pieces, and I'd cleared all of them by the Tuesday. But that just revealed a mega mess on the floor and sneakily tucked away behind the rails. I got let off early today because the Fashion Girls were off to a Claire's Press event. Sadly I didn't get to go, but I was happy to tottle off an hour early.

Today when I walked into the office, the lady who was looking after me instantly said she loved my scrunchie. I love it too! I've had it since I was 5, so it's a totally vintage piece of retro nineties history. Why buy lots of expensive scrunchies now, when I can just have a rustle through my kiddie hair accessories that I never threw out? I knew there was a reason! Although the top blends into the cardi in these photos, the top is actually a ribbed, navy, long sleeved crop top and the cardi is black.
