Summer Tribal

Hey Guys!
I posted about his dress last summer. I wore it to our summer performance at work and I teamed it with a regular black cardigan and some brown lacy dollie shoes. I think that the combination I have gone for here is far more summery and looks more lady like. I got lots of compliments at work for its tribal
It came with a shiny, uber skinny, tan belt, which is what I wore it with last time. But here I have choses a regular skinny black belt from a skirt I own. I think that this belt works so much better as it mirrors the black lining to the neck line and the wide black stripe around the bottom of the dress.
I can’t believe I’d never thought of wearing these red wedges with the dress before! Although the red isn’t an exact match to the tones in the dress, it works so well as it also have the straw/tan tones in the wedged sole. I accessorised with golden bracelets and rings which co-ordinates well with my golden headband. It’s as if I planned it or something!

I liked A*M*E when debut surfaced, Play the Game. That was when she was assigned to Gary Barlow's record label. It's my understanding that that has gone tits up and no longer exists. But since A*M*E had the tune Need U (100%) with Duke Demont, she's been lucky to keep the career going. I didn't realise she's actually put another song out called Heartless since it didn't chart. But her new tune is defo pretty cool, Hear Me Out. She filmed a video with Hunger TV (Fun Fact Alert: the same channel Rita Ora filmed her Facemelt video featuring Cara Delevingne with!) I love the golden sparkly jacket, so snazzy!

Kaleidoscope Trousers

Hey Guys!

This is one of the few trouser looks that I wore to work. I bought these, what I call Kaleidoscope Pattered trews, when I got my black dress with the white cross print, here. I wanted the purple print trousers as I explain in that post, but I’m quietly chuffed with these. However from reviewing these images I realise that for my shape and height they are best with additional height. So a pair of heels needed for sure next time! I think this is because they are shapeless and just hang off the body. Therefore it appears to fall around and not fit to my bum and they make it look pretty unflattering. But hey, it’s all an experiment!

I really like the trousers themselves as they are a fun and more entertaining take on smart trousers. One of the teachers at the School had some funky red and navy silky trousers and I really liked those, so that’s why I went on a little hunt for these. I think it works well with a ‘plain canvas’ i.e, white top and white cardigan as the pattern is very busy and it has a strong possibility of becoming a headache/eyesore if a t-shirt with it all going on was added. Not that I have one but a very boxy satin-y short length t-shirt would work well. I only see that kind of thing on the catwalks so I’ll have to hunt for a cheapo version for me.
Since the trousers are so shapeless, I felt I needed to add some sort of ‘streamlining’ to my appearance so I made a cleaner outline of my head and added some much needed height with my sock bun. With my pink watch, it was an obvious choice for the bright pink lipstick. Since the whole look is very pale and knocked back, the pink lippy works as a great accent colour and adds more interest!

Man, am I LOVING/ADORING/ADMIRING/HEAVILY INDULGING in Selena Gomez’s new album Stars Dance. I find most albums have a couple of dud tracks that I’ll just skip through. But I can’t help but hum *cough* sing at the top of my lungs *cough* to all of this album. I love the new music since it’s got hints of a new direction but still sticks to a few similar sound of her work with ‘The Scene’. I’ve got Write Your Name, Music Feels Better, Slow Down and Lover in Me all on repeat. I adore  her new look in the past music videos too. She is absolutely gorge in Come and Get It and I know the Slow Down video has been leaked, but I’ve only seen stills from it atmo. She looks mighty fine in those too! Am I done girl-crushing? I think so!

Finally, a Sunny Summer Barbecue!

Hey Guys!
Having had this beautiful weather for a while now, I felt a Summer BBQ was long over due. Last weekend I finally had the chance to catch up with my buddies, mostly from school with the addition of a lifelong college friend. It's so nice to be able to sit and chill and reminisce about the good ol' days. I feel so old when we talk about things from Year 10 as it only seems like yesterday. Thank fully I've definitely blossomed since then, so hopefully by the end of the decade I won't be as embarrassed to look back at this era!

This was my pretty outfit that I desperately wanted to wear when I last met up with my buddies. But it was a horrible rainy day so I would have got drenched and probs whinged the whole day that I was cold (Mason would defo of been mine if I was in this badboy, hehe!). The mix of colours is Porange, as made more prolific by Cheryl Cole at X Factor USA debut. I adore my skater style skirts and dresses. Sometimes they're called Flippy Skirts, which I think is why I like them because they're so Flipping Amazeballs. No, really, I like the way they fit around your waist and accentuate that but the gathering fabric that falls down to your thighs means the tired tummy isn't exposed. (And when you spin really fast the skirt flares out and you feel like a Princess!) As is was a really hot day I wanted to flash a little but of the top of my stomach to give a real "Summer's Here!" effect.
To match my orange crop top I went with my orange/tan beaded sandals. Since it was a relaxed affair I didn't fancy heels. If I had have worn heels I'd have gone for my nude/tan chunky heels. Just for future reference. The skirt actually comes with a skinny black belt, but I went with a metallic silver one as its much thicker and evens out with the proportions of tum on show. That made it really easy to decide on silver accessories a la Ring-Bracelet Combo hand made by moi!
Everybody was very complimentary about my Floral Crown. Its from Primark for £3 and I wore with more of a Gothic Vibe here. My friend said she couldn't find it when she went not too long ago, but that might me due to the high turn over of stock Primark has. They appear to bring out new things more frequently that every half season! Always keeping us on our toes! Personally, I love the collection of headwear and Floral Crowns by Rock 'n Rose. Pixie Lott did a collaboration with them and I think they are soo cool. It's where I got the urge for a Cat Ears Headband. But they are waaaaayy outside my price range so I'll have to save my pennies for something from there. They are really beautiful pieces though.

Moving on Up

Hey Guys!
I'm not gonna lie, I think I look pretty cute in todays look. We had our transition day at school when I wore this. That involved the all the kids having to move up into their new class room to have a taster day with their new teacher, preparing them for September. In the oldest class, who I was with, we created a Story Mountain. I actually really like the idea of this piece of work. The whole class discussed adventure story details such as location, characters and story line. Then the kids in 5 groups each wrote an outline to either the 1. Introduction, 2. Build-up, 2. The Problem/Dilemma, 4. The resolution or 5. The Ending. They also all drew beautiful jungle plants and animals to create a vivid display in the classroom.
I got lots of compliments about the dress. One lady said, 'I wish I could look that good in that kind of dress.' Flattery will get you everywhere with me! I have a post about a more dressed down look with this dress which you will conveniently find located around about here. This time I added a little white cardigan and my tan chunky heels. I really wanted to wear these heels to 'work' at least once during my time there. Several members of staff commented on the additional height I'd gained. If I could actually grow a few more inches myself, I really would but these heels will do for now.
I kept the hair and beauty side of the look really natural as I didn't want to come across too try hard and glammed up. It works well with the natural/tan colour of the heels.

Finally, Natalia Kills has released new music that I'm liking. I loved her debut tracks (Well, debut under this name anyway. Personally I loved Don't Play Nice, but whatever...) that were out 2010/2011. I even did a whole photography project based on her song Wonderland (got an A for that. Natch. Thanks Natalia!) I realise I am a month late on Problem which is a good song. I like the bit where she's like, 'We're not even at the Beach!' However, I'm not really a fan of the styling in the video. Don't get me wrong it all goes with her image and the look of the vid. But it's just not my cup of tea. Saturday Night is her new song and that is pretty neat too. You can defo tell her sound has matured and it has more of a chart influence.

Super Cute Sunshine

Hey Guys!

I adore this look as just looking at it make me feel all summery and happy. I think that it's the dress really. The white chiffon with a pretty birdy and floral mix print scattered all over it, the shirt-like design with the black collar, buttony strip and matching belt. When I teamed it with my cropped (aged 5-6) denim jacket and red heart shaped sunglasses I feel like I struck gold. I chose my bolder orange lipstick, but maybe I should have gone bright red to match the glasses.

We did the 2nd performance of the class play to parent in the evening and one of the kids said the cutest/cringey-est thing to me. As I was re-applying my lippy during the interval he came up to me and said, 'Why are you putting lipstick on? You're not even in the play.' I told him I can wear lipstick if I want to, I usually do in the day don't I? To which when I was in full putting-lippy-on-do-not-disturb-concentration mode he said (brace yourselves), 'But you don't need to wear make-up you're perfect the way you are!' Awwwwww! How sweet!... Ok, lets not kid anyone here. We're all wincing deep down inside aren't we? It came from a short, 11 year old boy who is super active and never stops. A handful really. I said pardon because I genuinely didn't hear what he said, but then I registered and I'm quite glad I didn't hear it the first time because I have no idea how I would have responded. But after I said pardon he was like, 'Nothing' and scuttled off. It is quite sweet really that I have this effect on people, what can I say?

I don't like to admit it, because I like to stick with my TWFanmily roots. But secretly, or maybe not so, a little part of me is a Directioner. I don't follow One Direction anywhere near as much as The Wanted (not literally follow, I've got better things to do, people to see, y'know). I really didn't think I'd like One Direction's new tune Best Song Ever as I thought it was going to be like, 'La la la, This is the best song ever' and make no sense at all. But it does actually have some sort of story line. It is catchy and we all know that's my forte in music. Anything repetitive or catchy and I'm in. The stills from the video look quite funny, look out for 1D's alternative personas/jobs they'll be looking at if 1D ever finishes.

Sports Day!

Hey Guys!
Just a quick Post to show you my sports day outfit, obviously for when the school I'm working at atmo (We all get that's at the mo don't we. Not sure if I ever established that) had it's Sports Day. The colours were the standard Red, Yellow, Blue and Green. So by going bright pink I thought it would be obvious that I was in a league of my own and totally unbiased. But all the Red team thought I was supporting them. Secretly I was since that was my group back when I was at school. I'm pretty impressed with myself that I managed to find a matching pair of shorts. There's black writing on the back of my top with my name since it was from when I was in the Netball team in Year 8 (so cool), so my black shorts match nicely. The fact that the sports brand logo (Nike with the tick I think? Shows how much I like exercise) is visible makes it look like I care enough about sport, exercise and generally keeping fit to splash out on proper kit. When the reality is my sister picked them up in P.E as well as her own shorts so whose ever they WERE cares enough about sport to get good quality shorts.
I was given the role of giving out stickers to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place runners. Not a very sporty or strenuous task. Oh and supervising the teams when they had their 5 minutes rest. That was a bit harder and required more thought, HeHe! I reckon I was given that job since they thought I never dress appropriately for days with P.E lessons or generally for moving about lots in a school. But HA! This showed them. I'm such good actress and fashion chameleon!
Afterwards was the school fete. I managed to get out of being thrown wet sponges at as we had a man from Zambian visiting the school so I walked him back to school while the anarchy went down.

Don't I look so cute? I managed to co-ordinate my watch shoes AND top. That is something pretty special right there.

Orange Lispick

Hey Guys!
From the title of this post you may be thinking, 'Silly Row Bow. She can't spell lipstick properly! What a numptey!' But no actually I was watching a program about a little girl, maybe 5 years old, prepare for her Holy Communion and she was excited about having her hair and make up done. When she told the camera person about what she was going to wear so said, 'I'm gonna get me Lispick, Nail, Eyes and ....me Lispick ...and Nails done.' Bless she was so cute! I love that she said Lipstick wrong twice in under 10 seconds.
As a dedication to that little girl, this post is mainly about me and my pale orange lispick. The outfit I'm wearing is pretty sensible as it was the dress run for the class performance of the Dracula Rock Show. I had to be able to run around and not get tangled up in props and scenery. They performed in front of the rest of the school and it was a lot of fun.
Now, back to lispick gate. I bought this one which is BarryM number 54 a month or two ago and thought it was the perfect orange that I had bee searching for. However when on my lips I'm not sure if it's a little pale and looks a little neon. But hey Neon Lips= Party Lips doesn't it? A few weeks after I bought it I saw a Zoella Video and actually found Maybelline had the perfect shade. I really do love that lippy. Most peeps have said it looks good, but I'm not sure if they're just being polite.
I've got it now so I might as well pretend I can carry it off!

Blue, Green and Pink Zebra

Hey Guys!
As a technical term, I believe the Met Office call this recent sunny weather we have been experiencing 'Ice lolly Time'. And I've been doing just that, everyday after work I'm straight to the freezer to whip out one of those suckers. I honestly feel like I've been melting this past week! So to keep me cool I've been trying to wear slightly looser clothing and floaty-er dresses.
This drop hem chiffon dress is great in sunny weather as it is very thin, even with the slip underneath. And the long back protects your legs without making them hot and bothered. Perfecto! The dress itself has an elasticated waist which makes the top half blouse really nicely over. But I chose to add the very thin electric pink belt to add a little bit more interest and a pop against the blue zebra print. Also, it creates a connection between my watch and the rest of the look. I realise the bold pink watch doesn't quite go with everything in my wardrobe! I chose my green denim jacket for another injection of colour, and I didn't want to go for all over blue with a blue denim jacket too. I think I'd like a coral pink cropped denim jacket next. I'm not too sure where to look for that, or even to look for the money for it? But I'm sure I'll solve both those problem eventually...

I am LOVING the first MKS Single, Flatline. If you're out of the loop let me fill you in. Mutya Keisha Siobhan is the new band name for the 3 original Sugababes members. They have been recording with peeps like Emeli Sande (Gosh, she gets everywhere!) and this single is out 1st September. It kind of has the original Sugababes sounds, but is more developed for the UK Chart Circa 2013.

Performing in Pink

Hey Guys!
As pretty as this outfit is, it wasn't really the best choice I made when I wore it as we had a mock dress rehearsal of the class play. Cue muggins (me) to be running about like a headless chicken changing scenery, clearing the stage and organising backstage children amongst other things. I'd mentioned that that kind of this is what I do for work so I'm happy and capable to help them with it. It was a little tricky since I'm not their teacher so they didn't listen as much to me, but I did manage to get around half the class on my side.
Last time I wore this I didn't add a belt, but I think it does work well with one. Due to the pattern and colours of the pattern on the dress, a small tan belt blends in well. I wore matching pink wedges which only have a little heel but was not practical for climbing on and off chairs and trying to quietly run across stage! I threw on my denim jacket to finish the pretty in pink summer look. But the older kids rumbled me and I may have mentioned that the jacket is age 5-6 years. Cheeky, but cheap!
I've adorned my bright pink lippy which works really well with the pink dress. I have fishtailed my hair into 2 braids. I pinned back my fringe since I find that in gorge weather like this I just can't be dealing with a fringe being plastered to my forehead!

I was casually channel flicking the other day and Trouble by Neon Jungle played. I have never heard of the band before, but they remind me of a new Little Mix, like The Saturdays were a 'new' Girls Aloud. They are a 4 piece girls band that combine singing with a little bit of rapping and throw in some 'Hey!' Chanting here and there. The song it super catchy and really dancey and the chorus is super easy to learn so you'll be singing along to in in no time at all. You have been warned!

Floral Goth

Hey Guys!
I thought I was going to go swimming when I wore this so I decided, upon learning from last time I went swimming with the school, to wear something that left my feet free for flip flops. This also meant that I wouldn't get soggy tights and shoes again. I even washed my flip flops especially! But then it turned out they didn't need me. I think I was just filling in for another T.A last week, although I quite enjoyed the little adventure.
It was the first day of this beautiful hot spell us Brits are experiencing, so I wanted a look that kept me cool and made me look cool! It's just the way I roll, HeHe! This is a top my siblings got me for my birthday, since I'd been doing my Art Foundation Final Major Project about Skulls (amongst other things) they thought I needed a top to remind me of the pain I've been through this year. What caring sisters! I don't really go for high neck tops because I don't think they suit me at all, but this I have to say is an exception. I added a long necklace so the eyes are still drawn down the body and elongates it. I love the low cut arm holes, but since it give the bra a good reveal, I had to cover it up . I wore a thin black vest top underneath to cover up a little. Its actually my thermal top, but since it's soo thin it's fine to wear in the summer sun as well.
I got lots of compliments on my pretty floral headband, although it's more like a crown really! The lady in the office (reception)  was particularly taken by my little combo. Don't be mistaken, that is a cheeky sock bun on top of my head! I hoped that this time wearing my purple lipstick I wouldn't be told it looks like a moustache, like it did when I wore it to my regular work.
I spent most of the afternoon outside playing tennis with the kids. However it was under the sizzling sun and of course, I sizzled! The straight outline of the top acted as a brilliant stencil to my sunburn. But I've got my tips and tricks so it had all healed and turned into a marginal tan, by Monday. Go Me!

I've been struggling to let you know about new music recently. I just haven't had the time to find any but now I've thought of some I can top you up with my insider info. Naughty Boy has worked with Emeli Sande a fair bit recently, basically her whole album Our Version of Events, Never Be Your Woman and Wonder are a few. They must be bezza mates because guess who is the vocalist on Naughty Boy's newest tune. None other that Ms. Emeli Sande! The track is called Lifted and it is another feel good song, much like Wonder, but less tribal sounding. Take a listen...

Babysitting Nail Designs

Hey Guys!
As we know I like to experiment with my nails and tend to take a more creative approach to painting them. When I go babysitting I do tend to get a few 'ooohs' and 'ahhhs'. Sometimes the kiddies decide to design their own Nail Art and I say, 'That's great! I'll take a photo and put it on my blog.' But then of course, me being me, I totally forget. So here are a few piccys of mine and Emily's collaborative nail art designs. Click on the images to enlarge them. They were taken on an iPod Camera so it's got nothing on my usual quality. I hope you feel inspired by these profesh drawings, HeHe!

There you go Emily, nail art extraordinaire in the making!

Rockabilly Row Bow

Hey Guys!
My look last Thursday took a bit of a 1950’s inspo. The tie (not an actual one, just don’t quite know what to call it!) in my hair instantly give of a 50’s rockabilly essence. I quaffed my fringe up and put the rest up in a big curly pony tail to polish the funky look off. I got a couple of compliments by some of the staff at ‘work’, so it looks like I’m making a good impression! I’ve kept the pink theme throughout the outfit with my cardi, shoes and as always my watch.
I’ve worn my letter print pinafore, which when I bought I wasn’t sure what I could wear it with. It’s quite a tricky one because it’s a completely different shape to anything else in my wardrobe. But after having a successful scavenge through my 2 chests of draws I rediscovered this dusty lilac top. It has some scrunchy effect detail on the shoulder working down the top of the sleeve. I think this works well with the busy print of my dress, as it is a good match in ‘busy-ness’ and interest.
I thought I’d be walking home, hence the trainers. But I managed to flutter my eyelashes and persuade someone to take this babe home, HeHe!
I’ve just noticed that I forgot to adorn myself with any sort of accessories or jewellery. I was probably too occupied with doin’ ma hurrr.

Autumn Colourings in Summer, Crazy!

Hey Guys!
This was my look on last Wednesday. I feel I have gone with more of a autumnal colour palette with my grey dress and brown boots. The dress is a purchase from M&S, which sounds pretty old lady-ish but you can actually find some snazzy things in there. It was reduced from £19.50 to £9.50 so total barg! It is a couple of sizes bigger than I’d normally go for, but it’s nice to have something with a little bit of moving room to it. Particularly handy when wearing it to ‘Work’. Since it is a bit looser I cinched it in around the waist with my short tan belt. I love the little crystal details across the shoulders and I added a little silver necklace to match the details. Sticking with the silver theme I wore a very snazzy headband which is all sparkly and a couple of rings on my thumb and index finger! So that my tan belt didn’t look too out of place I wore long brown heeled boots, and a wooden bracelet to make brown the accent colour of the look. I think the outfit looks much nicer without the cardigan because I have a better silhouette without it. If the cardi was a fitted jacket or blazer that would have worked better. But being an extra pair of hands at a primary school, I feel a blazer would be a little too over dressed, even for me!

That all sounded very say what you see, but it’s probs  because I only quickly put it  together as when I woke up I decided I didn’t wan to wear what I had planned to whipped this out as a back up.

New H&M Dress

Hey Guys!
New dress alert! I popped into town at the weekend and H&M had a massive sale on up stairs AND down stairs. When I went in with my buddies a couple of weeks ago and saw some lovely purple palm tree printed trousers but I was talking to them and only really half paying attention to the clothes. But after I go home and I was thinking about it during the week I decided that I actually did want the trousers and I dragged my Mumma back into town at the next available free slot in my diary. But when I got there and found them again it turns out I had been picturing them initially wrong and I didn’t really want them in fact. But I had a bit of a mooch around and tried on a few other pieces and this is one of the purchases I made. I love the cut of the dress! The combination of this and the lightweight fabric of the dress means it sits really nicely and flatters creating a dainty frame. I didn’t realize when I bought it but another feature I like is low cut arm holes. They’re cut a little lower than a regular one, which means the chest to collar part appears thinner and longer, which has a wonderful effect on your figure!
It was really a hoodie day since it was a bit breezy, but I think the dress looks a lot cooler without anything. Or a white cardi works well too.
I teamed the dress and black tights with my golden spiked necklace. I also added a couple of gold and purple rings on my index and middles fingers. I never used to wear rings on my index finger, but now I think it looks rather interesting. Also, since I have to buy large fingers as mine are deceivingly wide boned sometimes when I get home they feel a little loose on my ring finger to I shuffle them across where they fit all snug.

Painting in Purple

Hey Guys!
In the words of Amy Pond, “Ok, Kid. This is where it gets complicated!” As I’m posting 4 times a week but wearing 5 super cute outfits I appear to have rolled over onto a new week. So this was last Monday’s look. When I wore this number to work I had a whole day of arts and crafts this meant I had to wear something that I didn't mind getting dirty. One of the kiddies was like, "We're all getting messy and you have pretty clothes on!" So I had to inform her that these were my least ‘pretty pretty’ clothes. I don't really have anything I don't mind getting paint on, but I hardly wear this dress so I thought I just wouldn't mind so much.
I wore this dress to my normal work not too long ago, but I teamed it with dark leggings and a long dark cardigan. So this time I decided to go for a more summery feel and team it with a little white cardi.  This dress comes with its own wrap belt in the same fabric of the dress, but I chose to wear a tan belt this time. To go with the tan belt and to mix things up a bit I wore my summer beaded sandals.
I really liked wearing the plum coloured scarf in my hair last time I wore the dress. But since I washed my hair the night before I wanted to leave it down and curly. I decided to wear the scarf it its intended form and left it loose over my shoulders. When it came to the painty times I tucked it behind the belt around my waist and I think that looks pretty decent as it gives the illusion of a bigger chest yet keep your waist looking mighty fine!
How pretty are the rises growing up the side of my house? Shame they’re so high up. I’ll have to try growing a little to get more of them in my piccy.

Career Option #3

Hey Guys,
So after being a Stylist, or a Teacher I've come up with a third possible contender for a future career for me. A Nail Technician. This is because of the beaut of a job I did on my Sister's nails at the weekend. Pretty Peng tbh! I have not painted anyone else's nails for ages, I feel. I did the nails of the kids I babysit back in like February kind of time, but even before that I never get to do anyone else's. When I was little, at Primary school I used to always paint my friend's nails. My Little Sister is a MEGA Tomboy and therefore wouldn't let me go anywhere near her with a nail polish. Such a tease!  I think I did them once when she was like 2 and then I had to stick to me own nails.
But here I've done a really good job and think that my year doing an art foundation is obvious! I've completed such a detailed job and it looks really effective. Well, it did until she smudged it. I tried to cover it so it's not that noticeable really. She never wears nail polish and so wasn't used to the wet nails/ drying statue you should presume. I usually paint my nails at the computer as I find typing one of few activities, other than sitting still with my hands out, that doesn't require much nail varnish ruining movements. Also, the moving of your fingers makes the air ventilation better. Back to the nail designs... I used a colour pallet of dark purple/plum and white. On a majority of the nails I painted a deep plum background and used my Primark nail Pens which have a really skinny brush, and drew a continuous pattern of little crosses. Then on her ring fingers I reversed the colours and painted a white background and used a dark purple crackle effect nail polish over the top. And it was as easy as that!
Now if you'll excuse me I'm currently painting my own nails with a funky multicoloured leopard print design. If you're lucky I'll post it sometime next week.

Swallow Print Swimmer

Hey Guys!
This was my look from Friday. It was a pretty crazy day, I was switched about all around the school and didn't really know which way was up tbh! It makes me feel useful actually as otherwise they'd have to get somebody else in, but they don't since I'm bumbling about. I started Papier-mâché-ing some chocolate tins so that they could be turned into Caribbean drums for the kids. I worked with two little children who insisted using a paint brush but I meant business as I even removed my rings. I'm a serious Papier-mâché-er! But after only maybe 5/10 minutes of getting messy and gluey I was asked if I could go swimming instead. So then I hopped on the mini-bus and off to swimming I went. Pretty neat actually as the regular swimming instructor at the pool asked on of the T.As, "Who's that pretty one at the end of the Pool?" That would me Moi, HeHe! I had to wear the blue netted bags, like they do in hospitals, over my dollie shoes so that obviously added to my look. In the afternoon I went back to the Papier-mâché drum class but got told they found someone to help them out so back to my peeps doing the class play I went. I ended up spending the afternoon finishing my cardboard coffin. It looks totes amaze, shame it'll probs be scrapped when the shows over. I've had a couple of little helpers on it, and bless they have worked really hard on it. I hope I've been somewhat inspiring!
Anyway back to my clothes since that's what we're all here for! I think this is a really different look for me since I'm not usually one for the shirt and buttoned up to the top look. It's a style which the high streets and shopping centres are full of and because of that I tend to stay away from it. But I've given in and think I look quite cute in this. The swallow-print shirt is my sisters so its then kind that has been sewn with plenty of room for boobage. But I don't need that, so it did sit a bit funny. But nothing a quick reshuffle couldn't sort out. I wanted to accessorise with a cute satin bow, but since I had to run out the house (AGAIN, Whoops!) I grabbed this spiked necklace which always works well with a collar. I also had two gold and purple rings on my right index finger and left middle finger.
I was going to pin up my hair, bit-up-bit-down stylie. But after the little walk I have once I've been dropped off the rain got to me and drenched my hair so I just left it au natural. I'm impressed with how curly it has gone, and only a little frizzy. Turns out Frizz Ease really does do what it says on the pot! I was desperate to wear my orange lippy so I did!

I'm loving Avicii's new tune Wake Me Up featuring Aloe Blacc. It like acousticy dance and is pretty cool for Summer! What has been Aloe been up to recently? He seemed to disappear of the face of the earth after I Need a Dollar.

Leopard Print Cat

Hey Guys!
I'm still working on props for the class play at the school I'm 'working' at. I didn't want to wear anything too pretty because I'm guaranteed to get paint all over it! I went for a cool/casual vibe here. However I didn't make any props today, instead we had a gaggle of children in from another partner primary school. They were in small groups and researched their Topic countries and compared facts between the two and the UK. Some facts were really interesting actually like the minimum wage for Mali is like 6p an hour! Mad, since its just over £6 here! As a first impression to the other school kids, I think I did pretty well. I asked a few of them if they thought I'd make a good teacher and they enthusiastically replied, "Yeah!". I'd be the coolest teachers ever, one of those hip young ones. But I'm going to give my Fashion Styling career a good crack before I become Miss Row Bow!
The attention grabber in this look is definitely the leggings. Pink Leopard Print is pretty outlandish when it comes to 'work wear', Hehe! To tie in with the black marks in the print, I wore a baggy black t-shirt. Its a small men's size to get a good balance between baggy and looks like it's till meant to fit. You don't want it to end up looking like a dress! I've rolled up the sleeves which helps the proportions as they become a more suitable length against my arms. Otherwise it does look like I've whipped it out of my Dad's wardrobe, not a good look. I needed some sort of jacket since the weather is so unpredictable at the moment. I grabbed my denim jacket as I ran out the house. These early morning are not something I'm used to anymore. I have enough time to do my make-up at home, so I dawdle then run out of time and make-up is done in the car. That's more like Row Bow! I only have pink camouflage converses or old white trainers, and I really thought trainers would keep the street-ish cool vibe. So i went with the rounded trainers which work much better over lace ups as they are a good contact to the busy print of the leggings.
Because the top is very dark, and so is my hair, I've put it up in a sock bun. This makes the perfect background for my floral cat ears headband. The pale flowers are much clearer against the dense collection of hair. I wore a heavy chained necklace to rest against the baggy tee. I chose a gold one since my headband had a golden frame.

Little new music for you: A Buddy from College has started a new band at Uni called Metropolis and they have some pretty quirky little tunes. Their new one I Don't Wanna is really catchy and was released yesters. Here is the YouTube vid for it with many more deets for their EP Where People Have Been (I like Okay on that). I did offer my help as a stylist to them, and my bud said when they hit the big time I can join in. So if you could all check them out, I'll have a job before you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

1st Day at New Work

Hey Guys!
So since I've already been on holiday for like 6 weeks already, I decided idea it was time to do something useful with my time! Since last Wednesday I have been working at a local primary school which I did my work experience at waaaay back when I was in year 10. I literally can't keep away since this is the fourth summer I've worked there. (I did have a break, but I decided this was more in that sitting around twiddling my thumbs)
I'm not gonna lie, I felt really messy and severely dressed down on my first day since I was warned that I was going to me painting. So I went for my art leggings which have an attractive splodge of dried hot glue. Lovely jubbly! I was marginally aware that the leggings were showing a little bit if vpl, so I wore a longer white top to try and cover my toush. However it was only once I'd got home at the end of the day my sister told me my pants were totally in show! Because that's how I roll, hot! #Cringe, but none of the kids to me so it can't have been too bad. They were probs taken aback by my amazeballs art skillz. I made a prop of a coffin when I wore this. Also, I rolled up the bottom of the leggings to wear a different styling of them. I chose my camouflaged wedged trainers to make me feel a little dressy, but with the rolled up leggings I'm not sure if I like it. If I'd have worn them all the waydown my legs would have seemed longer.
I did have my hair down, but as I ended up making a cardboard-coffin as a prop for their class play I tied my hair back. I had to have some sensible shoes aswell, so I brought my pink lacey dollie shoes. Lucky I did because it happened to be cross country that afternoon. I was exhausted from cheering on everybody! A slick of pink lippy and I was looking hot...well decent at best!
